Fellowship Activities

We at St. Mark's enjoy including newcomers in our get-togethers.

Coffee Hour

After the 7:45 a.m. service, coffee and tea are provided in the Auditorium.  After the 10:00 a.m. service, coffee, tea,
juice, and refreshments are available. Everyone is encouraged to come and visit with each other and the clergy in a more informal way.  Parishioners sign up as hosts by providing some form of refreshments and cleaning up.

Potluck Suppers and Picnics

These are held in the Auditorium or outside throughout the year, some as a potluck, others at the compliments of the parish. These events are usually hosted by the Newcomers/ Evangelism Committee.

 Food for the Spirit Groups

Beginning with a potluck supper at church, people sign up to be in small groups, which meet monthly in private homes.  These groups of eight-to-ten members choose their own meals and decide who will bring what dish.  Purely social in nature, these groups are especially helpful for newcomers, as they get to know and enjoy the company ofa small number of parishioners.

St. Elizabeth's Guild includes fellowship, outreach minisitres, service to the parish and assisting with office tasks.

Other Parish Fellowship Events and Parish News is found in The Message, the weekly newsletter of  St. Mark's, which informs people about the happenings in our parish.  Contact the office if you would like to receive this. The Message is also included on our web site.
